Easy Turkey Chili Recipe

Easy Turkey Chili Recipe

Easy Turkey Chili Recipe Trader Joes is one of my favorite places to shop.

First off they have so many fun things, in fact the other day I bought an entirely shelled, still whole coconut. It was so cool and way easier to eat.

Shopping there is also a breeze because they are so small and have the friendliest employees I have ever encountered (I don’t even mind waiting in line).

I don’t think TJ’s is the absolutely lowest price place you can shop, but if you know what to look for you can get some great everyday prices.

I put together this Easy Turkey Chili Recipe that will run you about $1.50 a serving when paired with a simply salad.

Here’s the price breakdown from my TJ’s (yours may differ)

  • 20 oz ground turkey- $3.99
  • 1 jar of TJ’s or your favorite red pasta sauce- $1.79
  • 3 cans of kidney beans, drained- $2.97
  • 1 tablespoon plus two tsp chili powder (from my pantry)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin (from my pantry)
  •  6 oz of shredded Monterey Jack Cheese or Cheddar- about $2
  • 16 oz of your favorite TJ’s pasta- We used Gluten Free $1.49
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (from my pantry)

Total: 8 servings $12.00

Do you shop at Trader Joes?  How do you like it?
