Today’s Frugal Tip: Invest in a Freezer

September 13, 2013 by jlpenner 2 Comments

Did you know grocery items go in sale in cycles?  This means that if you can stock up every couple months and pretty much never need to pay full price.

This is why I am really looking forward to getting a freezer.  Then I can buy 6 loaves of $.99 Sara Lee Bread at the Dollar Store for the hubby- now I can only buy 2-3.  And I will totally stock up on meats and fish.  We are saving for one and every time all the stuff falls out of my little refrigerator freezer I wish that could happen a bit sooner.

Who out there has a freezer and loves it?  Comment and let us know.

If you have a frugal tip email it to FFD. We would love to share it.

I love my deep freezer. I go to food pantries and freeze bread, peppers, onions and many other items. It's worth the investment!
