“Eyes”Cubes {Healthy Food for Halloween}

September 26, 2013 by jlpenner 1 Comment

eues-9small3gShow of hands.. who likes to play tricks on their kids?

Laughing with your kids is such a great way to build connection and bond. And here is a fun project you could even do with them, or just surprise them with for Halloween (or anytime).  Personally, I don’t have nearly enough time in my schedule to do all the fun things with my kids that I would like to do and I know many of you feel the same way.  Sometimes we just have to make it about the little stuff, and this is one of those projects.

“Eyes”Cubes.. get it?  Pretty creepy to have “somethings staring back at you when you take a drink.

All it is is a grape and dried cranberry (you could also you a raisin) frozen into the ice cube.

These are so easy and are a yummy treat for adults and kids a like. I made these with square trays since that is what I had, but I took a peek over on Amazon and they have booth round ice cube trays and spherical trays that would be perfect for making these “Eyes”Cubes.

Let me know if you try them, or give any of my Halloween Recipes a try.
