Deep Fried Ice Cream Recipe

Deep Fried Ice Cream RecipeMMm.. fried ice cream!!

Ok.. it’s not really fried.. but SUPER yummy and WAY easier!!

 “Deep Fried” Ice Cream

Serves 4

Ingredients
1 pint of Vanilla Ice Cream
1 cup of cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Cinnamon Chex for gluten free)
4 tablespoons honey

Instructions:
Scoop out 1/2 cup of ice cream for each “fried Ice Cream”.  Roll each into a ball.  Roll into cereal.  Freeze until ready or eat or eat immediately.
When serving drizzle with 1 tablespoon honey.

Optional- serve with whipped cream and a cherry.

    here is my recipe - shape vanilla or chocolate ice cream into snowball size , roll in nuts , any kind u like , refreeze till set. Deep fried for 30 seconds , really, scoop out of deep fryer , in a bowl , drizzle with honey , AWESOME!!

    I suggest crushing the cereal a bit to make it more like the restaurant versions. I've had this made with other cereals, too, such as crisped rice. It reminds me of when we were little: We lived on base, and Mama gave us a bowl of cereal with a scoop of neapolitan ice cream on top if our family ran out of milk when the commissary was closed. Yummy!
