Did you know that today marks 100 days until Christmas? Pretty fun, right?
I thought I might start getting the ball rolling a little early this year so we all can start thinking about budgeting, putting money aside and actually saving money on Christmas. No one likes getting sneaked up on and so if you can do a little preparing you can get your shopping done early and in budget!!
So, let’s get going:
I love getting vouchers for Christmas gifts because they are almost always 1/2 price! I am also a huge fan of “consumable gifts”, meaning gifts you eat or go do something with.

I like them because most of us don’t need more stuff but many of us have “dreams” or need a date with our hubby. A last year I bought my mom a balloon ride (which we are FINALLY taking this month). She has wanted to do this since I was a teenager and it is really fun to make a dream of hers come true (at 1/2 price). Plus you can find nice gifts for those that are harder to shop for. My mom’s husband LOVES eating out so I picked him up a couple vouchers to a nice local restaurant and her really enjoyed them.
On top of all that it is a super easy way to shop. no stress. And since you have a couple months you can check back on the sites to find a perfect gift (at the right price) for your loved one.
Are you excited for Christmas? Are you an early shopper or do you put it off until the last minute?
