I started making my own household cleaners and even some beauty products this last year and I actually LOVE them!
We don’t do everything organic or natural, but I do try to incorporate a lot of those type of products for our daily use. The problem? They are EXPENSIVE and often are not on sale (and if they are, it is still expensive).
You don’t get a lot of freebies and samples of natural bathroom cleaner and toothpaste. So those items are going to set you back $4-6 a piece.
Another reason I really like using natural cleaners is that I don’t have to worry about my kids using them, meaning they can clean their OWN bathroom! That in it’s self is worth $$ to me 🙂 .
I actually have found that most of my homemade experiments have worked well, some even better than the store bought, in my opinion.
