100 Days of Christmas Savings: Day 73, Sign Up for Reward Cards

November 27, 2013 by jlpenner Leave a Comment

100daysrewardReward cards are one of the best and most consistent ways to save money on your purchases. By joining, you are eligible for special member-only discounts, and you can often earn points for all of your purchases. Once you spent a certain amount of money, you can turn your points in for coupons or money off of a purchase. Unlike reward credit cards, you can use whatever payment method you prefer with reward cards.

Reward cards come in a few different forms. Some let you save money on purchases, while others have member-only discounts that you can take advantage of. Grocery store reward cards often let you save your points towards a larger item. As we head towards Thanksgiving and Christmas, you may be able to use your grocery reward points for a turkey or ham.

These cards work best for customers that shop at the same stores on a regular basis. Be sure to still compare prices and only buy things that are a good deal. Even with reward points, it makes sense to shop around at various stores to get the best price on everything.
