100daysclearanceClearance sales are fantastic ways to save money on gifts and stock up throughout the year. You can look for clearance toys, clothing, electronic gadgets, kitchen items and more. Many places swap items to clearance long before their season is over, so they still make great Christmas gifts.

If you’re shopping for kids clothing, check out stores like Gymboree and Children’s Place. Their clearance sales often include an additional 40% off of all clearance items, so you can get really nice Christmas gifts for families with just a little bit of money.

To get the most from this tip, you have to be diligent about watching the clearance aisles. At least once a week, do a quick walkthrough of your favorite stores. Some stores, like Target, make it easy to find clearance—it’s always stocked at the end of random aisles.

If you find a really good deal but can’t immediately think of someone who you could give it to, buy it anyways. You’ll probably be able to think of someone who would appreciate it as a gift. If not, you can sell it on a local selling and buying site and easily make your money back.
