100dayscouponsOf course couponing is not new to any bargain hunter.. but is always worth talking about to remind us!!

Between now and Christmas, retailers are going to compete viciously for your business. Take advantage of this by watching the circulars and collecting coupons. There are many different coupons available for toys, clothing, and kitchen goods—all of which are good for Christmas gifts. For instance, Shopko often has coupons that allow you to get one smaller toy free if you buy a larger, related toy in the same purchase.

If the coupons you find aren’t for your favorite retailer, visit them and see if they price match. Many stores, including Wal-Mart, will price match competitors’ sale prices. Keep an organized file of Christmas coupons sorted by expiration date. You’ll be able to spread your Christmas shopping out over the next 6 weeks while saving tons of money.

On top of store coupons, watch for manufacturers’ coupons. If you “like” certain manufacturers on Facebook or are part of their email lists, you can get access to exclusive coupons. Use these coupons on top of store sales and you can save a lot of money on Christmas gifts for your family. Some stores may even let you use a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon in the same purchase.
