100dayslightsEnjoying Christmas lights is a free way to enjoy the season and fill up your Christmas spirit. Even better, it’s an activity for the whole family. Kids love the colors and being able to be out “late” with their parents! You can start as soon as people start putting out lights and decorations. Pack the kids up in their pajamas, get them some hot chocolate, and get everyone into the car. Drive to different neighborhoods to see what their lights look like. You’ll soon find which neighborhoods go all out for Christmas lights!

You can also go enjoy Christmas lights just around your neighborhood. Take your kids on an early evening walk, just after it gets dark outside. Point out  your neighbor’s houses and talk about which lights you like the best. Not only will you get some quality time with your kids, you’ll learn a little bit about your neighbors and how they decorate!
